Releasing a new video in celebration of her fortieth birthday this week [4 August], Meghan Markle gave viewers a rare insight into her non-royal life, from Prince Harry's hilarious candid antics, to the decor inside her *amazing* home office.
But among all the commotion, plus Meghan's announcement of her exciting new 40x40 project, there are some details hidden in the video which viewers might have missed, including the two necklaces that Meghan can be seen wearing - and it turns out her jewellery actually has a sweet hidden meaning.
Chatting via video call to actress Melissa McCarthy, we can see Meghan wearing two matching diamond necklaces on identical dainty gold chains.
While the pattern of the diamonds might not be obvious to people looking at them for the first time, they actually form two astrological constellations - one for Taurus and one for Gemini, which are the star signs of Meghan's two children, Archie and Lilibet.
Two-year-old Archie was born on 6 May back in 2019, making his star sign Taurus, while baby Lilibet was born on 4 June this year, meaning she is a Gemini, with Meghan's jewellery forming an adorable tribute to the pair.
The two necklaces are thought to be from Los Angeles-based jewellery brand Logan Hollowell, reportedly made of 14k gold and diamond and costing $1,785 (around £1200) each.
And while we're on the topic of star signs, if you're wondering about Meghan Markle's, her 4 August birthday makes her a Leo, while Prince Harry was born on 15 September, making him a Virgo.
On top of providing a sweet insight into her life at home in California, Meghan also used her birthday video, posted to her and Harry's Archewell foundation website, to announce her 40x40 birthday initiative, where she's asking forty of her friends to give forty minutes of their time to help mentor a woman who is "mobilising back into the workforce", in the hopes of creating a ripple effect of good deeds around the world.
