Groundbreaking ceremony in Eden, Texas. The wind farm will:


  • Power up to 200,000 homes with 127 wind turbines
  • Make a significant contribution to the west central Texas economy including an estimated $5.5 million in annual tax revenue and landowner payments, and approximately $6 million in local expenditures during construction
  • Create approximately 400 construction jobs and 25 full-time jobs to operate the facility
  • Utilize the latest in proven wind turbine technology
  • Produce home-grown, clean, renewable energy in Central Texas
  • Begin commercial operation in Oct. of 2020
