Maroon 5 Manager Jordan Feldstein Flips Out in Beverly Hills and New York City

SELLER: Jordan Feldstein
LOCATION: Beverly Hills, CA, / New York City, NY
PRICE: $12,950,000 / $2,699,000
SIZE: 6,314 square feet, 4 bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms / (approx.) 1,400 square feet, 2-3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms

YOUR MAMA’S NOTES: Jonah Hill’s older brother Jordan Feldstein, the long-time manager of Maroon 5, Robin Thicke and singer/actor Rick Springfield, caught a raging case of The Real Estate Fickle and flipped multi-million dollar homes in both Beverly Hills and New York City back on the market with substantial price increases only about a year after buying them. In September 2015 Mister Feldman, married to Clint Eastwood’s daughter Francesca for about 42 seconds in 2013 and probably best known to celebrity tabloid readers as the guy who an angry Sharon Osbourne tossed water on at Clive Davis’ 2014 pre-Grammy party, shelled out $11 million for a photogenic 1960s contemporary pavilion on a tiny cul-de-sac high in the Trousdale Estates area of Beverly Hills that he cosmetically refreshed and, we first heard word from eagle-eyed real estate yenta Yolanda Yakketyyak, now has back on the market at $12.95 million. Current listing details describe the gated and extensively glass-walled residence as an “exquisite Mid-Century masterpiece” designed in 1962 by acclaimed architect Robert Skinner, carefully updated with the “finest” modern-day creature comforts and “perfect for the connoisseur who wants to live in a work of art.” Floor plans included with online marketing materials show the minimally but — make no mistake, butter beans — expensively furnished residence has four bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms in 6,314 square feet.

A bi-level entrance gallery, with a long row of skylights and floor-to-ceiling glass sliders along one wall, makes an operatic 55-plus-foot stretch before it reaches adjoining living and dining rooms. The dining room has a full wall of floor-to-ceiling glass sliders that open to a sumptuously verdant tropical garden that extends up the slope behind the house while the theatrically capacious living room, 26-feet wide and 30-feet long with a double-height ceiling, has parallel walls of floor-to-ceiling windows and glass sliders. One side opens to the aforementioned tropical garden and the other to a private and sunny, south-facing multi-level courtyard with outdoor fireplace, swimming pool, spa and pebble stone terracing dotted with mounds of carefully clipped boxwoods. The towering white brick fireplace that anchors one end of living room is double-side and shared with a more intimately proportioned den directly on top of which is a lofted office space that opens to large roof deck.

The kitchen, with massive skylight over a super-sized center island, has sleek wood cabinetry and stainless steel counter tops. One end of the kitchen opens to a petite and also sky-lit small family room with fireplace between a pair of floor-to-ceiling glass sliders while a separate state-of-the-art home theater, located in what was once a staff suite, has deep blue wall-to-wall carpeting that perfectly matches a couple of plush blue sofas. Three guest and family bedrooms, each with walk-in closet and luxuriously outfitted en suite bathroom, are contained in a two-story wing discreetly behind the kitchen and dining room while the master suite, at the opposite end of the house, includes a huge bedroom, 33-foot-long fitted walk-in closet, and deluxe bathroom with twin vanities, two toilet cubicles, two-person soaking tub and a separate glass-fronted steam shower.

Mister Feldstein is also attempting to turn a several hundred thousand dollar profit on a roughly 1,400-square-foot duplex apartment on a scenic cobblestone street in lower Manhattan’s Soho ‘hood that he bought in October 2015 for $2.3 million and heaved back on the market in early October of this year for $2.699 million. Per current marketing materials, the ground floor co-operative has two and potentially three bedrooms and two bathrooms plus a nearly 600-square foot combination living/dining room, compact but well equipped kitchen, and an approximately 500-square-foot private garden not so privately overlooked by surrounding buildings.

The talent manager previously owned a modern-minded Mediterranean in an unheralded but certainly pricey cranny of Beverly Hills he bought in 2012 for a smidgen more than $2.9 million and sold last fall for $3.14 millon, a bit above its $3.1 million asking price.
