Barkingside is the London Underground station with the fewest delayed trains, new research suggests.
Commuters from the Central Line stop in the north-east outskirts of London enjoy some of the most punctual journeys to and from work, according to the analysis.
Researchers for web conferencing firm Powwownow asked Transport for London for delay data before crunching the numbers.
They found Barkingside’s commuters faced just 17 minutes of delays a year.

The suburban area, near Ilford, is home to the headquarters of children’s charity Barnardo’s, and was in Essex before becoming part of the London Borough of Redbridge in the 1960s.
Redbridge and Chigwell, also in north-east London on the Central Line, had the second and fourth lowest number of delays of all 268 Tube stations.
The station with the most delays was Acton Town in west London, where frustrated commuters faced more than 73 hours (4,432 minutes) of extra waiting time a year.
Arnos Grove ranked second-worst with 64 hours (3,843 minutes) of delays, and Stratford came third with nearly 58 hours (3,473 minutes).

Powwownow also used their own formula to decide on the capital’s ‘most stressful’ station, looking at the number of passengers and of complaints on social media.
Predictably, some of London’s most well-connected and well-visited central stations topped the list.
King’s Cross St Pancras was ranked as the most stressful stop, followed by Bank and Monument, Stratford, Waterloo, Victoria and then Oxford Circus.
