Little Mix star Leigh-Anne Pinnock has shared a breastfeeding photo following the premiere of her new movie Boxing Day.

The actress took to the red carpet earlier this week to promote the film, which sees her star alongside I May Destroy You's Aml Ameen, who also writes and directs.

However, taking to her Instagram page afterwards, Leigh-Anne shared a number of photos from the night, including a sweet black-and-white picture of her feeding one of her twins, who she welcomed in August with partner Andre Gray.

"What an overwhelmingly incredible night...," the star wrote on the captions. "Watching back my acting debut and seeing little old me as a leading lady in a whole MOVIE!

She went on to thank the studio and Ameen for "taking a chance on" her, saying that Boxing Day was "a film we ALL need right now".

It comes after Leigh-Anne spoke earlier this week about starring in the film alongside an all-Black cast, and how it made her feel "seen".

"It was literally like walking into a whole new world," she told ITV's Good Morning Britain. "I just remember when the opportunity came and the audition, I just couldn't refuse it, like I had to do it."

"A few auditions later and I'm starring in my first movie, it's just incredible. And an all-Black cast as well, the first of its kind. I'm just so proud to be a part of it."

The star added: "I feel like this film allows a lot of people to be seen, a lot of the Black community to feel seen – for me to be seen and you did that for me so thank you."

Ameen said: "I completely agree, there's a feeling to be seen in a way that you've not been seen, like in normal everyday things and normal life. Ultimately, it's about celebrating being British but through a different lens."

Boxing Day centres on a British author called Melvin (Ameen), who returns to his hometown of London for Christmas with new fiancée Lisa (Aja Naomi King), but comes face-to-face with ex-girlfriend and global superstar Georgia (Pinnock).

Boxing Day is released in UK cinemas on December 3.
