Lift Resource Centre Scheduled to Open First Clinic in Brampton, ON January 4, 2016 Providing Cannabis Education and Access to Medical Practitioners

TORONTO, ON / ACCESSWIRE / December 17, 2015 / Lift Resource Centre ("Lift RC") will begin accepting patients at its first clinic on Monday, January 4, 2016 in Brampton, ON at Unit 101, 36 Vodden St. East. The clinic will provide patients from Brampton and surrounding areas access to Lift RC services, including patient consultations, cannabis and medical education and access to on-site physicians competent in prescribing medical marijuana to qualified patients under Health Canada's Marihuana for Medical Purposes Regulations (MMPR).

This location is one of two Lift Resource Centres opening in Brampton. The second is set to launch in February 2016 and will serve patients five days a week as the Lift RC flagship location. Lift RC will continue to expand its locations across Canada, working collaboratively with medical practitioners to support patients in the education and use of medical cannabis. Utilizing My Virtual Clinic software, patients will be able to conveniently schedule appointments and access their medical documents through a secure and compliant online platform. Licensed Producers will be able to communicate electronically with physicians and patients, allowing Lift RC to maintain an efficient workflow with all parties.
