Lamborghini Aventador Goes Up Against Huracán In Stock Supercar Battle: Video

The Dragtimes strip is a great place for high-speed, straight-line showdowns. All manner of vehicle have faced off at the lights of this Russian runway road. Usually a host of modified vehicles see just how quickly they can cover the ground over there, but a pair of stock vehicles lined up to do battle and it was quite interesting. A 691-horsepower Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 squared off against the 601-hp Huracán LP 610-4, and the results were pretty interesting... especially for the newer, smaller Lambo family member.

We won't spoil the finish, but you can probably guess the winner. What you might not see coming is just how quickly the Huracán gets off the line. Personally, we think it's a better overall driving car than the Aventador thanks to its wonderful 5.2-liter V-10 engine, all-wheel-drive system, and greater eagerness to turn-in when compared to the larger, more powerful Aventador.

Still, this is a straight-line battle and outright power is usually the victor in such contests. Will the expected result occur here? Like we said, you can probably guess the outcome... but you might not realize how close together the two cars will finish.
