Yahoo Finance Kris Jenner opened up about what her relationship with Caitlyn Jenner is like now
Kris Jenner has opened up about her what her relationship with former spouse Caitlyn Jenner is like today, saying that they are "respectful" to each other since they co-parent daughters Kylie and Kendall.
Kris spoke about how the former couple's relationship had changed since they split in 2015, telling WSJ's The One that they are "respectful" to each other, adding, "[Caitlyn] is the father of my kids. That speaks volumes."
Caitlyn and Kris were married from 1991 to 2015 and have had a fairly tumultuous relationship in recent years, in part prompted by Caitlyn's memoir The Secrets of My Life which was released in 2017. In an episode of KUWTK Kris spoke about being "disappointed" with some of the things the book said about the family, claiming, "Everything she says is made up."
Since then it looks like Caitlyn and Kris have managed to get back to a cooperative place, with Caitlyn due to appear in the 20th and final season of KUWTK which is currently airing now.
Elsewhere in the interview Kris also spoke about the moment when she learned of Caitlyn's transition, saying that she was focussed on being a good parent but "didn't always know what that meant."
"I had no experience in anything like that," she said. "So you’re just trying to understand. I’m the kids’ mom and trying to navigate; that was honestly hard because I wanted to be the best parent I could be, and I didn’t always know what that meant."
