Kim Kardashian Just Set The Record Straight About Larsa Pippen And That Seemingly-Shady Instagram Caption

Queen of Amazing Captions Kim Kardashian is officially setting the record straight about some rumoured ~drama~ between her and ex–best friend Larsa Pippen.

ICYMI, here's the backstory: Earlier this week, the new trailer for Real Housewives of Miami (which Larsa is appearing in) dropped. The trailer included footage from a dinner party at which Adriana de Moura went in on Larsa, accusing her of trying to 'become' Kim.

'You left this group of women, come back with a butt as big as Kim Kardashian’s, trying to become the new Kim Kardashian, which you’re never going to be,' Adriana says in the clip.

Not long after the trailer dropped, Kim posted the following picture on Instagram, along with the caption, 'They can steal your recipe but the sauce won’t taste the same.'

Fans immediately (and completely unsurprisingly) drew a very bold line between those two dots and concluded that Kim was shading Larsa. On Friday afternoon, however, Kim jumped on Twitter to set the record straight and make it clear that her IG caption was most definitely not intended as sub-shade because, TBH, if she had shade to throw, she would have done so directly, tyvm.

'No shade throwing, I don’t do subs,' Kim wrote in response to a fan who tweeted about loving the seeming pettiness of the IG caption. 'I want everyone to win. I just had a good caption LOL.'

Some fans were happy to hear (erm, read) that Kim wasn't shading Larsa in the Instagram post and showered her with stan-levels of love and support:

But a lot of people were more skeptical of the declaration of non-pettiness:

And then there were those who were firmly in the middle of the Venn diagram—aka not quite believing that the caption wasn't shade, but still living for it and showering Kim with support anyway.
