Katy Perry has been super candid about her pregnancy ever since she announced her baby news back in March - and it's really refreshing to see. She's revealed her oddest pregnancy cravings and even celebrated her baby bump in a gorgeous nude shoot for her latest music video.
And now, she's taken to Instagram to share an even more intimate part of her pregnancy journey: her belly button. Yep, you read that right.
In a recent Instagram story, Katy zoomed in on her swollen belly button, asking fans, "Do you guys wanna see something gross?" as she laughed calling it "disgusting." Showing how her belly button has grown along with her bump, Katy captioned the video, "pregnancy realness" with a sickness emoji.
However, Katy was super light-hearted about the whole thing, and it's important to remember that no part of pregnancy is actually gross or disgusting. It's all completely natural, and Katy does a great job of reminding people that the reality of growing a baby isn't always glamourous.
Katy followed up the shot with a selfie, saying, "Do you guys wanna see something gorgeous?" adding, "That's what you get! It's a payoff for looking at my gross belly button."
The singer announced that she was expecting her first child with Orlando Bloom back in March, with the pair revealing that they're having a baby girl in the most adorable way.
The couple have remained pretty private about the baby's due date, though Katy has previously joked that it'll be a close call as to whether her album (released on August 14th) or her baby arrives first. Looks like there isn't much longer to wait...
