How Will and Kate Really Feel About Having a Fourth Kid, Apparently

The Cambridge family (Prince William, Kate Middleton and their three kids, Prince George, 8, Princess Charlotte, 6, and Prince Louis, 3) is objectively adorable. Seriously, just look at them:

Ah. Dor. Able.

So, will this adorable family of five become an adorable family of even more adorable humans? Probably not, apparently.

Even though Will and Kate haven't gone on the record about firm family plans the way Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have, there are royal experts out there willing to share some educated guesses about the odds of Cambridge Baby No. 4 happening. True Royalty TV co-creator Nick Bullen is one such royal oracle and, in a recent interview with Us Weekly, he broke down exactly why Will and Kate are *probably* done growing their family.

"I think they feel that they’ve got a pretty perfect family. I think Kate was always keen to follow with her parents, [Carole Middleton and Michael Middleton], and have that sort of family of five," Bullen said, referring to Kate's two siblings, Pippa and James Middleton. "She’s [now] matched it. And I think my view is [that] they’ll probably stop here."

For what it's worth, one of the only known comments from a Cambridge on growing their family came in January 2020, when Kate told a royal fan in 2020 that she didn't think Will wanted anymore kids. That means that if Bullen's theory is correct, the couple is totally on the same page when it comes to family planning.

Bullen offered several other reasons for his "No More Cambridge Kids" prediction, including Kate's history of "really tough" pregnancies (she dealt with extreme morning sickness caused by hyperemesis gravidarum during all three of her pregnancies) and Will and Kate's super busy schedule.

"They are really focused, over the next 12 months, on their work," Bullen added. "Both of them turn 40 next year. They are really keen to be promoting their charities, their initiatives [and] foundation. I think for them, the next 12 months [are] all about the work."

Hopefully that work will include some engagements with George, Charlotte and Louis and more adorable Cambridge fam moments for us to ogle.
