Johnny Depp Holed Up in £8000 A Night Hotel With Eight Body Guards

Johnny Depp checked into an £8000 a night hotel in Stockholm ahead of last night’s Hollywood Vampires gig in the Swedish capital.

The actor reportedly had beefed up his security team as rumours of his abusive relationship with estranged wife Amber Heard continued to circulate.

MailOnline reports that Johnny took a boat to the amusement park venue where his band played, flanked by eight security guards.

The site also reports that his security team were overheard in the lobby of Stockholm’s Grand Hotel, saying that they had to protect Depp ‘at any cost’.

They were also allegedly heard deciding that Johnny should use the same entrance that Justin Timberlake used when he visited earlier this month.

A crew member told MailOnline that Johnny has been reclusive: “He is always keeping to himself. Ordering room service and never spends time with the band”.

Another source told the site: “We have all been told not to talk about Johnny for obvious reasons. He is under a lot of stress at the moment and talk about him might affect the band.”

The star is currently facing allegations that he threw a mobile phone at Amber last weekend, bruising her face.

The couple announced they were to divorce two weeks ago, just days after Johnny’s mother passed away.

He is in the middle of a European tour with The Hollywood Vampires and is due to play in Denmark tonight.
