Yahoo Finance Joanna Gaines Responds After Drew Barrymore Calls on Her and Chip in New Instagram Video
If you were wondering, yes, Drew Barrymore is still in the middle of renovating her apartment. And, yes, she's still sharing the entire process with fans. Now, it's "demo day" and she's in need of some major help, so she's calling on the experts.
The 47-year-old talk show host previously went viral for getting pretty emotional after revealing a hidden window in her New York City pad. She got giddy with excitement, let out a few howls (yes, howls) and even shed a few lot of tears during the project. In her latest renovation video, Drew's giving us a full range of emotion from despair to acceptance and then right back to despair...or maybe it's fear. We'll let you decide.
In the caption and in the video, Drew calls on help from two people who know a thing or two about renovations: Chip and Joanna Gaines.
As she pans around her mid-renovation apartment, she cries, "Chip and Jo, is this the way you feel sometimes mid-project, like—" and then immediately cuts to herself screaming in frustration. Relatable!
Of course, the Fixer Upper hosts didn't leave Drew hanging out to dry (this is a pun intended for Drew's viral rain video if you didn't catch it). Joanna left some words of encouragement by saying, "I feel you, Drew!! Keep your vision in mind and keep pushing through the mess! It's going to be so beautiful and worth it!!"
Other followers left words of advice like, "It's gonna be ok, you got this girl!" and "Yeah, but when it’s done it will all have been worth it 👏."
In the beginning of her renovation project, Drew sure looked like she was having the time of her life. She first dubbed the process as "therapeutic" as she hammered away at old tile and fixtures on TikTok.
Now, she's gotten to the part where it all starts to sink in that there's no turning back. We've all been there, Drew. Everyone's wishing her the best of luck and fans can't wait to see the final product!
