Yahoo Finance Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck Have Been Talking ‘Every Day’ Since Vacation
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck may literally be opposite sides of the U.S. now, with Lopez in Miami and Affleck seemingly in Los Angeles, but People reports that Bennifer's renewed flame is far from extinguished. The two are in constant contact since their Montana vacation ended last week, a source said, and an in-person reunion is happening soon.
“[Jennifer] is in touch with Ben every day,” the source explained. “They are making plans to see each other. Jennifer is still very excited about how things are going with Ben.”
Lopez is currently taking time in Miami to be with her kids and work, per the outlet's insider.
A source told People earlier this week that while Lopez and Affleck's relationship originally didn't work out in 2004, the nearly two decades since have changed them greatly. “It doesn't seem possible that [Jennifer] would ever get back with Alex [Rodriguez, Lopez's ex-fiancé as of mid-April], but I can't say that about Ben,” the source said.
E! was also told earlier this week that Lopez and Affleck were in contact: “She and Ben are talking and plan to see each other again,” its source said on May 11.
A day earlier, Entertainment Tonight reported that Affleck and Lopez's “natural chemistry” is still very much intact.
“They have a good time when they're hanging out and things have been easy, fun and exciting between them,” the source said of their new burgeoning romance. “They've stayed in touch over the years, so the two of them reconnecting isn't a huge surprise to their friends. Ben is protective over J.Lo and they're trying to be as low key as possible.”
