Hyundai adds valet service to new Genesis luxury brand

The new Genesis luxury brand is upping the game in terms of the way owners are treated both in and away from dealerships.

Genesis, Hyundai's luxury division, has announced what it calls the "Genesis Experience," a suite of ways owners and their cars will be pampered during the first few years after purchase.

When it comes time for servicing during the first three years or 36,000 miles—whichever comes first—Genesis owners will be able to take advantage of a valet service that will come pick up their vehicle and leave them with a complimentary Genesis loaner car. Also during that first three year or 36,000 mile period, all scheduled maintenance will be included with the vehicles' purchase price.

Regardless of mileage driven, Genesis will include SiriusXM Travel Link, which supplies traffic and weather data to the navigation system, and the automaker's Connected Services program that includes a Google-based concierge service and features like remote unlocking and start from a smartphone app.

For now, Genesis' two-prong lineup of the G90, which replaces the Hyundai Equus, and the G80, which replaces the Hyundai Genesis, are the only ones to benefit from the full Experience program, but the automaker says it will expand it to all future models.
