After-Hours Movers Friday: Akorn Inc., Weight Watchers International Inc.

SouFun Holdings Ltd. (NYSE: SFUN) and its competitor E-House Holdings Ltd. (NYSE: EJ) both gained in after-hours trading Friday.

The two China-based online real estate business have been volatile, recently gaining on news of easier lending standards in China. SouFun rose 5 percent recently to $8.45, E-House was up 3 percent to $6.73.

Silicon Motion Technology Corp. (NASDAQ: SIMO) ticked up 3 percent in the late session Friday to $31.39. The Taiwan-based chip maker had closed down 8 percent and said earlier Friday it will pay $57.5 million to acquire privately held Shannon Systems.

Weight Watchers International Inc. (NYSE: WTW) gained 2.4 percent in extended trading Friday to $8.45. The shares are up 7 percent in the past week on no obvious catalyst. Weight Watchers posts results May 5.

E Commerce China Dangdang Inc. (NYSE: DANG) gained 2 percent to $9.32 after the bell. The company didn't issue news.

Akorn Inc. (NASDAQ: AKRX) plunged 14 percent to $47.44 after hours. After the bell the company said it will make additional accounting restatements that will reduce previously reported revenue for the final three quarters of 2014.

Marvell Technology Group Ltd. (NASDAQ: MRVL) dipped 6 percent to $13.51 in the extended session after the company said first-quarter revenue will be below its earlier forecast.

Verisign Inc. (NASDAQ: VRSN) dropped 1.5 percent after hours Friday to $64.07, after closing down nearly 4 percent. The domain registry services company earlier missed earnings expectations.

Microsoft Corp. (NASDAQ: MSFT) dipped 1.4 percent in the late session to $47.20. The shares are up 15 percent since posting quarterly earnings Thursday.

Xerox Corp. (NYSE: XRX) declined a further 1.3 percent in extended trading to $11.83. The shares closed down nearly 9 percent on disappointing quarterly results.
