Hollyoaks' Sienna is arrested after Brody calls the police

Hollyoaks spoilers follow.

Hollyoaks aired a new twist in Sienna Blake and Summer Ranger's feud tonight, as Sienna was arrested after spiking Summer's drink.

In Friday's first-look episode, Sienna (Anna Passey) proved just how far she was willing to go to get scheming Summer (Rhiannon Clements) out of the picture, spiking her drink in order to get a chance to talk uninterrupted with Brody Hudson (Adam Woodward).

Sienna's plot quickly came back to hurt her, though, after Summer turned the tables and claimed that Sienna had tried to poison her.

Tonight's (April 12) E4 episode opened with Liberty (Jessamy Stoddart) and Damon Kinsella (Jacob Roberts) calling an ambulance for Summer, while the walls began closing in on Sienna as her friends and family turned against her.

Liberty wasted no time in confronting Sienna over her actions, who admitted that she did add something to Summer's drink.

"What if she had died?" Liberty demanded, prompting Sienna to reply: "Well, then, I would finally be rid of her."

Horrified Liberty then quickly shared that she and baby Faith would be moving out of the flat, saying she didn't feel safe with Sienna any longer.

"I'm going to make this really simple," she added before she left. "Either you tell Summer what you've done, or I'll go to the police myself."

Later, Summer told Brody that she didn't want to press charges against Sienna, but she did use the situation to urge Brody to cut all contact with Sienna for good.

"Now Sienna's revealed who she really is, we don't need to keep up this fake friendship charade," Summer insisted. "If we're going to carry on with the future, we need to cut her loose."

Before long, Sienna and Summer ended up crossing paths in the village, and Summer admitted that she had exaggerated her reaction to the sedatives in her drink. After she began taunting her rival once again, Summer ended their meeting by issuing another threat.

"If you don't stay away from us, I will tell the police, Sienna," she warned.

With Summer's warning ringing in her ears, Sienna immediately got in touch with Brody and soon the pair were meeting at the patisserie, where Sienna once again tried to explain that Summer was manipulating all of them.

She was left blindsided, though, when Brody revealed that he had let himself into Sienna's apartment and found the sedatives that Sienna had used in Summer's drink.

"Why is nobody listening to me? Summer is evil, why can't you see it?" Sienna demanded before she was interrupted by the arrival of a police officer who wanted to ask Sienna a few questions about the spiking.

While Sienna was left reeling, Brody delivered another blow as he admitted that he was the one who had called the police. Has Summer finally convinced Brody to turn his back on Sienna for good?
