It’s no joke: Insult comic Don Rickles is selling his home on Malibu‘s Point Dume for $8 million.

The four-bedroom, 5.5-bath home was built in 1968, but it shows no signs of age. It rests behind gates and down a long driveway for heightened privacy. The house features wide-plank hardwood floors, a sun-filled living room with fireplace, and ocean views from the dining room, kitchen, and deck with barbecue island. There’s also an office with en suite guest/staff quarters.

The backyard has a pool with spa, and a tennis court is located on the acre-plus lot. Deeded beach rights to Little Dume Beach come with the property.

Rickles, 90, bought the house about 10 years ago, says listing agent Chris Cortazzo. He’s selling it because “he’s touring so much … working very hard,” Cortazzo says.

The comedian’s home is a 10-minute drive down the Pacific Coast Highway from one of Cortazzo’s other notable Malibu listings: the $60 million beachfront home of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber.

Rickles is known for his hilarious zingers aimed at presidents and average Joes alike. He’s been labeled “The Merchant of Venom” and “Mr. Warmth,” and has called audience members “hockey pucks” and “dummies.” He appeared more than 100 times on “The Tonight Show” when Johnny Carson was host, and was a regular participant at Hollywood roasts.
