There's nothing artsy photographers love more than convoluting architecture that exists into the realm of the fantastical, whether it's by turning cities into surrealist landscapes or totally flipping them upside down. For Daniella Zalcman, who moved from London to NYC, the challenge was figuring out a way to merge both her beloved cities in a single frame. As Curbed NY discovers, the photographer snaps pics with her iPhone and meticulously layers them to "create imaginary landscapes, like the ones we form when we think of home," as she explains in a Kickstarter video to raise funding for "New York + London," what she calls "a love letter to two beautiful cities—a personal map of their streets and their skylines."
