Yahoo Finance Here's What You Need To Know About Starbucks' Fancy New Iced Coffee
It's no secret that Starbucks kills it with their frapp game. They're constantly coming up with addictive (and guilt inducing) new flavors like the caramelized honey latte or toying with our nostalgia by bringing back the classics. They've even found a way to combat the guilt by coming out with more waist-friendly sizes. But despite their constant frapp innovations cold coffee options for the non-frappuccino crowd have been limited to iced coffee and cold brew, until now.
Starting this summer, Starbucks will be offering two amazing drink options for those of you that want your coffee cold and bitter like you ex's heart (JK, it's not actually bitter, just not super sweet).
The first drink is a Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew that is the perfect balance between black coffee and a vanilla latte. Made in-store daily, the vanilla sweet cream is a great compliment to the brand's cold brew and gives you a slight vanilla-caramely taste without overloading you with sugar. Added bonus: it looks pretty AF.
For the coffee purists the brand is rolling out Nitro Cold Brew. The drink is Starbuck's classic cold brew infused with nitrogen which gives it a creamy, velvety smooth texture (in other words, this is sexy coffee people). If you're craving a creamy drink without the milk, or the frothiness of a beer without the day drinking, this coffee is your answer.
The Vanilla Sweet Cream will be available nationwide starting May 31st. Unfortunately the Nitro Cold Brew will only be available in Seattle, NYC, Portland, Boston, Chicago, LA, and San Francisco, but *fingers crossed* it'll some day be available at your neighborhood Sbux.
