Who among us isn’t looking for a nice pay raise? If you’re a nursing assistant or sales manager, you likely got one in the last year, according to a new report from Glassdoor. And lucky for you: With the average annual raise in salary a mere 2.5%, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, wages are barely keeping up with inflation — and workers without pay raises are more likely to jump ship.
Glassdoor’s report ranks the jobs with the biggest boosts in pay. Salaries for these jobs have gone up more than twice the national average, at 5% to 11% over the past year.
What’s encouraging about this list is that it covers a wide range of fields, experience, and education. For example, the first job is a caregiving position as a certified nursing assistant where you don’t need a college degree to start. The second – with the same 11% rise in pay – is a sales manager where you do need 5 years of experience and a degree to get to that pay level. For a job to be considered for Glassdoor’s list, titles had to have at least 300 salary reports during the 12-month period, ending Sept. 25, 2016.
1. Certified Nursing Assistant

Education: College degrees aren’t necessary, but the proper credentials through an accredited CNA program are required.
2. Sales Manager

3. Implementation Consultant

5. Registered Nurse

Education: Associate degree in nursing, which can be obtained through a two-year program at a junior college. They must also pass the national license exam.

7. Data Analyst
