Yahoo Finance ‘Her Pen Pal’ Star Joshua Sasse Shared Epic Behind-the-Scenes Photos from Hallmark's New Movie

Her Pen Pal is part of Hallmark’s Summer Nights Series, and airs on Saturday, June 19.
Joshua recently gave fans a sneak peek at some behind-the-scenes photos from the set.
Mark your calendars: Hallmark’s Her Pen Pal — the newest addition to the network’s Summer Nights Series — is set to air on Saturday, June 19. Starring Mallory Jansen and Joshua Sasse, Her Pen Pal follows Victoria, an event planner looking forward to planning and attending her best friend’s Paris wedding. The kink in her plan? Her ex is attending with his new girlfriend. To make the most of the situation, Victoria reconnects with her childhood French pen pal and the story unfolds. Naturally, it’s exactly the type of movie we’d expect from Hallmark and exactly the type of flick we’re eagerly anticipating.
Luckily for us, Joshua is sharing behind-the-scenes sneak peeks at the filming process, which is only making us more excited for Hallmark’s newest movie.
“Work isn’t work when it’s this fun...or when you have to eat French baguettes, croissants and begnet’s during your scenes,” he captioned a gallery of photos on Instagram, which featured snapshots of him and Mallory, along with other members of the cast.
As much as fans love the idea of a new Hallmark movie, what they seem to be most excited about is the fact that this isn’t the first time Joshua and Mallory have worked together. They originally shared the silver screen in ABC’s Galavant, where they played Galavant and Queen Madalena respectively.
“Ahhh Gal and Madelaina together again!!!” one fan commented on the post.
“Galavant has been ensnared by Queen Madalena again,” another chimed in.
While the ABC fairytale came to a close after just two seasons, it’s safe to say fans can’t wait for the stars’ newest love story.
