Heidrick & Struggles: 3Q Earnings Snapshot

CHICAGO (AP) _ Heidrick & Struggles International Inc. (HSII) on Monday reported a third-quarter loss of $26.2 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.

On a per-share basis, the Chicago-based company said it had a loss of $1.35. Earnings, adjusted for restructuring costs, were 39 cents per share.

The executive search firm posted revenue of $144.5 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $143.5 million.

For the current quarter ending in December, Heidrick & Struggles said it expects revenue in the range of $140 million to $150 million.

Heidrick & Struggles shares have dropped 34% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $21.31, a drop of 23% in the last 12 months.
