Still in white chocolate, the face tops layers of chocolate sponge, chocolate sauce, white and milk chocolate chip and orange and purple vanilla buttercream.

The Danish baker has not one but three scarily delicious cakes on its line-up this Halloween. The Eye See You Muffin (£3.20) adds chocolate eyes and red dust onto a carrot cake muffin, complete with colourful cream cheese frosting. The All Hallows’ Eve (£3.20) is chocolate-based with both the cake and frosting sure to tickle your terrified taste buds and there’s the added embellishment of chocolate eyes and ears. The Spooky (£3.80) is a marshmallow whip on a marzipan base that has been ghoulishly dipped in white chocolate and decorated with dark chocolate to resemble the fittingly Halloween motif.

As the name suggests Love Brownies specialise in the art of the square chocolate bake and for Halloween, you’ll find their signature and bestselling original double chocolate flavour with a mummified twist.
