Yahoo Finance Halloween Kills new look released as director teases 'timely' sequel
A brand new look at upcoming horror Halloween Kills has been released, showing Mike Myers emerging from a burning house.
At the end of 2018's Halloween, the masked killer was trapped in Laurie Strode's burning house – though we know he survives as his breathing is heard in a post-credits scene.
In the new pic (via Empire), Myers looks as terrifying as ever as he no doubt heads out for vengeance.

Director David Gordon Green has also opened up about the timeliness of the sequel, telling Empire: "This film is about community fear, paranoia, misinformation and crowd panic.
"This movie is a great popcorn genre movie and not really any kind of statement, but it's strange how things line up. It couldn't be a more interesting time to release a movie like this."
This isn't our first look at Myers in Halloween Kills, however. A few weeks ago we were given an equally terrifying picture of the baddie. Speaking at the time to Total Film, Green spoke about what fans could expect from the movie: "It's about the creation of fear.

"It's one thing to be afraid of the Bogey Man, to have someone who might be in the closet, under the bed, creeping around your house, but we wanted to explore next was confusion, misinformation, and paranoia. What happens when fear goes viral? You can't just stick your head under the covers anymore."
He added: "When we made the last one we wanted to find a way for someone who's never seen the original to get up to speed with the story. But this one gets right to the action.
"It's very aggressive. It's more efficient. We wanted it to be an explosive middle before things get streamlined and personal again."
Halloween Kills is set to be released in cinemas on October 15, 2021. Halloween is available to purchase on Blu-ray, DVD, 4K and streaming now.
