After 2010, China's industrial robots entered a period of rapid growth, showing the cyclical characteristics of lower growth rate and higher sales volume and 3-4 years dimension, which is similar to the law of Japanese machinery order data. At the beginning of this year, it was affected by the COVID-19 epidemic, but this trend has not changed. According to the latest data, in 2020, the output of China's industrial robots will be 237,068 units, up 19.1% year-on-year. The industry has basically shaken off the trough and entered a new boom cycle.

According to IFR statistics, in 2019, the number of industrial robots per 10,000 industrial workers in China was only 187, far lower than the level of traditional manufacturing powers such as Japan and Germany. In recent years, on the one hand, the gradual disappearance of demographic dividend has caused the rapid increase of labor costs in China, on the other hand, the continuous improvement of localization rate in industrial robot industry chain has lowered the capital threshold for enterprises to carry out automation transformation, which will jointly promote the process of machine substitution and promote the development of industrial robot industry.
