Friends fans, rejoice! You don't have to wait any longer to tune into the highly anticipated reunion. The TV special, which was originally set to film in March of 2020, has finally dropped. Could we be any more excited?

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, HBO Chief Casey Bloys stated that "the show will indeed see the six original stars reunite in person for a one-off TV event," adding, "The idea is that they would be together. The COVID situation has been complicated—not just for this, but for television production across the board...so we're kind of dealing with that as it comes, but it will be this spring."

How do I stream the Friends reunion?

Since the Friends reunion special is available exclusively on HBO Max, you'll need a subscription to the streaming service in order to tune in. The app is only available in the United States and certain U.S. territories and can be downloaded on supported Amazon, Android, Apple, Google Chromecast, PlayStation, Roku, Samsung, and Xbox devices. If you already subscribe to HBO through your TV, digital, or mobile provider, or to HBO's previous app, HBO NOW, then you can get access to the current app at no extra cost.

Otherwise, a subscription costs $14.99 per month, or $69.99 a month for 6 months.

You can also watch all 10 seasons of the beloved sitcom, which aired from 1994 to 2004 and stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer, on the HBO Max streaming platform.

Announced back in February 2020, the one-off special, "Friends: The Reunion," reunites all six stars of the original cast back on the Warner Bros. soundstage for an unscripted interview. The reunion gives fans the opportunity to hear the stars chat about the popular NBC sitcom that made them household names—not to be confused with a reboot in which they would reprise their iconic roles.

During an interview on Rob Lowe's "Literally!" podcast, Lisa Kudrow explained, "It's us getting together, which just doesn't happen a lot—and has never happened in front of other people since 2004."

Sixteen years after the series finale, the comedy remains one of the most popular shows of all time, amassing a whopping 62 Primetime Emmy Award nominations during its 236-episode run.
