MONTRÉAL, Oct. 5, 2022 /CNW Telbec/ - Yesterday's Lotto Max draw saw 1 Maxmillions prize (worth $1 million each) awarded to a holder of a selection sold in Québec. In the Friday, October 7 draw, the prize pool will amount to $126 million and include a $70 million jackpot and an estimated 56 Maxmillions.
"When the prize pool is this high, we can't help but get excited at the thought of the jackpot being won by a Québec player, like it was in June when a Montérégie resident won $70 million. Québec lottery players won a total of $1.5 billion in prizes last year alone, which is a record for Loto-Québec," points out Isabelle Jean, Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer of Lottery Games.
