Lady Gaga makes her long-awaited film comeback alongside Star Wars' Adam Driver in the first look at House of Gucci.
Half-biopic and half-crime drama, Sir Ridley Scott's movie retraces the infamous 1995 murder of fashion boss Maurizio Gucci (Driver) by his ex-wife Patrizia Reggiani (Gaga).
The murder made headlines around the world, plunging the entire House of Gucci into a scandal that remains infamous to this very day.
House of Gucci is Lady Gaga's return to the big screen following her Academy Award-nominated performance in A Star is Born.
Scott's incredible international cast also features Oscar winners Al Pacino, Jeremy Irons and Jared Leto, plus Call My Agent! star Camille Cottin, Marvel's Eternals actress Salma Hayek and stage veteran Reeve Carney.
Shot on location in Italy, House of Gucci has attracted considerable controversy due to complaints from the famous family depicted in the movie.
Patrizia Gucci, one of Maurizio Gucci's second cousins, has publicly complained that Sir Ridley Scott's version of events is not true to life.
"We are truly disappointed," she told The Associated Press. "I speak on behalf of the family. (The filmmakers) are stealing the identity of a family to make a profit, to increase the income of the Hollywood system.
"Our family has an identity, privacy. We can talk about everything, but there is a borderline that cannot be crossed."
House of Gucci remains poised for an Oscars push regardless, as it is set for release in the heart of awards season later this year.
The film is set to hit US cinemas on November 24 and arrives in the UK two days later on November 26. In the US, House of Gucci will also be streaming on Paramount+.
