Ferrari reveals all 70 themes for its 70th anniversary special edition liveries

Ferrari [NYSE:RACE] in 2017 will celebrate 70 years since the unveiling of its first car, the 1947 125 S. To mark the occasion, Ferrari plans to offer special edition cars finished in one of 70 different liveries marking important milestones of the company’s history.

Each of Ferrari’s five present models—California T, 488 GTB, 488 Spider, GTC4 Lusso and F12 Berlinetta—will be offered with one of the liveries, meaning there will be 350 cars in total, and no doubt all them have already been sold.

Ferrari previewed five of the 70 liveries in September at the 2016 Paris auto show. Now the company has revealed the remaining designs. They range from the gorgeous to gauche and mark Ferrari’s links with, for example, the Agnelli family, Steve McQueen, and Formula One drivers Juan Manuel Fangio, Stirling Moss, Phil Hill, John Surtees, Niki Lauda and Michael Schumacher.

There are also liveries that highlight particular models from Ferrari’s past including the aforementioned 125 S, the 250 GTO, the 275 GTS4 NART Spider, the 288 GTO, the F40, the F50, the Enzo, and the LaFerrari.
