Fastcast Media Announces A Breakthrough In Mobile VR

eVR3 Mobile Virtual Reality offers an immersive experience at an amazing price point

CALGARY, AB / ACCESSWIRE / September 26, 2016 / FastCast Media Inc. has launched a Kickstarter campaign to finally bring the price point of Mobile VR down to the mass adoption level. The eVR3 has combined a dedicated Android tablet, with a custom designed Virtual Reality headset that is able to provide the user with a truly interactive and engaging experience. Out of the box the eVR3 is able to support all the existing mobile VR content on the Google Play store. (Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG - News)

"Virtual Reality is awesome, but it is not a good experience if you have to use your personal cell phone device as the display. Instead, having a dedicated device that acts as both a VR display and an entertainment player is a much better choice. The eVR3 was designed to be your standalone VR experience device, and supports all the amazing mobile VR content on the Google Play store. We have also included a Bluetooth controller for the unit, thus making VR much more interactive. We are also focused on keeping the cost down, and plan to retail below $250 per unit. That is significantly less than anything on the market today." - Dan Rickard, CEO FastCast Media Inc.

The eVR3 beta units were on display at Techstock 2016, and well received by the public. In addition to the eVR3 device, FastCast Media was also demonstrating several custom built VR worlds. These worlds were designed for use in both the education and medical markets, and highlighted the power of what a truly interactive mobile VR experience can offer.

"We are excited to see where the eVR3 goes from here, and seeing a fully developed VR solution that is estimated to retail for under $250 is quite interesting. The market is set for explosive growth, and by getting the price point down, it will help drive mass adoption." - Stace Wills: VP Innovate Calgary

FastCast Media has launched a Kickstarter campaign for the eVR3 device, and expects to have product ready for the market in Q1 of 2017. Link to the eVR3 Kickstarter Campaign
