RuPaul's Drag Race UK queen Ella Vaday has addressed the online trolls who commented negatively on her appearance and performance during the latest series.

A series 3 finalist, she recently sat down for an exclusive interview with Digital Spy where the subject of fan responses was addressed

"It's been really, really positive. It's a really weird thing, I think, the fandom, and people... how they comment and stuff.

"It's been tricky in some respects because you get tagged in stories, and you can't avoid stories. Because when you're on your Instagram, you go through your stories, and you've got lovely, lovely, lovely, lovely, and then it's like ugh, you look like shit, and then it's toot and boot, and you've got boots," explained Ella.

"It's like: I don't care. Because really, at the end of the day, I don't care. It was eight months ago. Whatever. I've improved loads since the show as well.

"But on the whole, so many people have started following me, and it's been so positive. So I can't really complain."

By emerging in the social media landscape, though, there's always a chance negativity will slip through.

"I've been trolled a bit, but I just block them," she revealed. "And on you go with your life. It's not worth my time. It's probably 11-year-olds stuck in their bedroom, just going through their own stuff. I'm 33. I haven't got time for it."

RuPaul's Drag Race UK airs on BBC Three (via iPlayer) in the UK and on WOW Presents Plus in the US.
