Yahoo Finance Euphoria unveils trailer for special episode 2 ahead of early launch
Euphoria has released the first trailer for its second special episode and it looks like we'll need to prepare ourselves for another emotional ride.
The HBO drama's special Christmas episode, 'Trouble Don't Last Always', saw recovering drug addict Rue Bennett (Emmy winner Zendaya) talking through her relationship issues with her mentor Ali (Colman Domingo) after backing out of leaving town with Jules Vaughn (Hunter Schafer) at the end of season one and subsequently relapsing by taking drugs.
Episode two – creatively titled 'F**k Anyone Who's Not a Sea Blob' – will show us Jules' perspective on events after she leaves Rue behind, and it certainly doesn't look like she's having any more of a good time than Rue is after their separation.

"Rue was the first girl that didn't just look at me – she actually saw me, the me that's underneath a million layers of not me," Jules says in the teaser clip, which you can watch above.
We then see Jules thinking over her experiences with Rue, before she is asked "So why did you run away?" – a question she doesn't appear to have an answer for.
Euphoria's second special episode will air on January 24 at 9pm on HBO. If you subscribe to HBO Max in the US, you can stream the episode two days early on Friday, January 22 at 9pm ET / 6pm PT. HBO Max is not available in the UK or other countries outside of the US.
The special episodes focusing on Rue and Jules are serving as bridges between seasons one and two of the drama, with season two having been delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Although having to wait longer for more episodes is far from ideal, at least we know that season two will be worth the wait if Zendaya's words are anything to go by, as she has promised that the new season, which has already been written, is "beautiful".
Domingo has also raised our excitement levels over season two as he has called the scripts "truly fantastic", while he also suggested that Euphoria showrunner Sam Levinson could potentially make some changes to ensure that the new season reflects the world as it is now.
"Sam is very astute and interested in the world, and letting the show hold a mirror up to society, and deconstruct it, and smash it over the head with a hammer, so I feel he would do all of it," the actor said, responding to the question of whether topics such as Black Lives Matter and the coronavirus could feature.
Euphoria airs on HBO in the US and on Sky Atlantic and NOW TV in the UK.
