England vs Czech Republic predictions: Where Euros fixture will be won and lost

England vs Czech Republic predictions: Where Euros fixture will be won and lost

England and Czech Republic face off tonight to decide who wins Group D.

Here’s where the Euro 2020 fixture will be won and lost...

Throw in Maguire

Harry Maguire is fit and ready to get his Euros campaign going. While it would be harsh on Tyrone Mings, who has been impressive in his place, Maguire remains England's most important centre-back.

His leadership, communication and ability to bring the ball out from the back have been vital to Gareth Southgate's reign. Be it in a back four or three-man central defence, Maguire needs to get back on the pitch.

Chance to see Bellingham

This is the perfect chance to throw Jude Bellingham in from the start. He has been outstanding in his debut season at Borussia Dortmund and impressed whenever he has been in an England shirt.

While he is seen as a replacement for Mason Mount, he offers more of an attacking threat than Declan Rice or Kalvin Phillips, so it would be interesting to see Southgate break up that pair instead.

Get Kane up and running

It is the ongoing issue facing England at these Euros. Their best player, talisman and leading goalscorer has looked completely blunt in the opening two games.

With qualification secured and the pressure off, this is a chance for the skipper to open his account. If he does not start scoring soon, the Three Lions can forget about football coming home.
