Driver busted without licence, insurance; owes $24K in fines
A 37-year-old woman will be appearing in court after police pulled over a vehicle early Monday morning in the east end of St. John's.
The RNC said at 1:18 a.m., someone reported that the woman was driving without a valid licence.
The vehicle wasn't registered or insured, and it had a false sticker on the licence plate.
The woman already owed $24,000 in outstanding fines.
The vehicle was impounded and she is being held for a court appearance.
