Driver, 19, issued multiple tickets, including lack of approved child car seat

Suspect in armed robbery now charged with 2 others on same day

A 19-year-old female driver was issued multiple tickets, following a traffic stop in St. John's on Saturday.

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary stopped the woman on Freshwater Road around noon.

RNC officers issued tickets to the driver for operating without a valid driver's licence, operating without valid insurance, failing to stop at a stop sign, and not wearing a seatbelt.

She was also issued a ticket for failing to ensure that a child was in an approved child seat.

A 48-year-old male passenger was also ticketed for not wearing a seatbelt.

Police impounded the vehicle.
