Dream of Buffett's billions? Stay here for a night
Now you can celebrate the 50th anniversary of Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.A) in Warren Buffett 's bed—that is, the one in his childhood home in Omaha, Nebraska.
A lucky Berkshire Hathaway shareholder can spend a free weekend in Buffett's childhood home, thanks to an Airbnb-sponsored contest. The stay in Omaha's historic country club district, where Buffett lived from 1936 to 1966, would coincide with the Berkshire Hathaway shareholder meeting, May 1-4.

To enter, eligible shareholders must answer four questions with 200 words each: "What are you most excited to experience in Omaha?"; "What are you most looking forward to at the Berkshire Hathaway Shareholders Meeting?"; "What's your favorite Airbnb experience?" and "What's next on your travel bucket list?"
A winner will be chosen by the current homeowner based on creativity and a "love of all things Omaha." The reward? A taste of the neighborhood where Buffett got his start as an entrepreneur, selling chewing gum door-to-door at age 6.
The three-bedroom, two-bath home has been renovated since the Buffett family's days and now boasts a basement gallery of Mexican folk art. However, it still has some original details, like the shelving in Buffett's father's study, according to the contest posting.
The lodging, worth $2,250, will be awarded after the contest closes on April 1. So dust off your notepad and take a bath—a great place for creative ideas, at least for Buffett .
