Donald 'Rocky' Loupelle wanted after violent attack at Winnipeg hotel

Police are advising the public to keep an eye out for a 44-year-old male suspect after a worker at a Winnipeg hotel had parts of her ears bitten off in a violent attack last weekend.

Donald "Rocky" Loupelle and a woman in her 20s are suspects in an attack at the McLaren Hotel on June 19.

At about 2:30 a.m. Sunday, 40-year-old Laverne Bunn was working at the hotel, located in the 500 block of Main Street, when a man and a woman came in. She refused them service and they proceeded to attack her for several minutes, police said.

The suspects took off before officers arrived, but investigators now believe Loupelle was involved.
