David And Victoria Beckham Set To LOSE £4m On South Of France Mansion

David and Victoria Beckham are reportedly set to lose £4 million on their Domaine Saint-Vincent mansion.

Bidding adieu to France, the high-profile couple have put their 200-acre estate on the market for £2.4 million, £1 million more than they paid in 2003, despite spending up to £5 million on renovations. Bargain!

The 19th century home – located in close proximity to Bargemon, near the Cote d’Azur – is packed with rustic charm and features a lavishly decorated sitting room, six bedrooms and an infinity pool.

Knight Frank, the agent in charge of marketing the property, describes the sprawling villa as an “exceptional estate” which offers the owner “wide open country views.”

The ground floor boasts a state-of-the-art open plan kitchen and breakfast room, plush purple sitting room and a formal dining room, complete with draped curtains, a huge chandelier and an open fireplace.

The first floor, which is accessed by two staircases, has a private guest suite with a stunning terrace, along with three lavish double bedrooms. And the second floor has a master bedroom, bathroom and dressing room.

The picturesque property originally went on the market last year for £3 million, but the price has dropped by £600,000 in a bid to sell it since the Beckham’s now prefer to divide their time between London and Los Angeles.

A source told The Sun on Sunday: “They might have poured millions into the mansion, but they didn’t seem too keen to enjoy the results of their cash.

“The locals won’t miss them as they were hardly ever here,” they added. “You wouldn’t have seen Victoria queuing for a croissant in the boulangerie.”

Living a croissant-free life, Victoria, David and their four children – Brooklyn, 17, Romeo, 13, Cruz, 11 and Harper, five – are currently staying in Los Angeles, where they often spend their summer holidays.
