A customer shot a 16-year-old fast-food worker in the head after getting into an argument over an order in Arizona, police said.

The suspect shot the employee through the drive-thru window in Phoenix around 8 p.m. Jan. 13, police said in a news release. The name of the fast-food restaurant was not released by police.

Then the suspect got into the passenger side of a vehicle and fled, police said.

The teen was rushed to a hospital. Police said he was in critical condition.

A suspect has not been identified, and the investigation is ongoing.

The Phoenix Police Department asks anyone with information to call the Silent Witness at 480-948-6377 or 480-837-8446 for the Spanish line.
