Crocs (CROX) Dips More Than Broader Markets: What You Should Know

Crocs (CROX) closed at $52.88 in the latest trading session, marking a -1.14% move from the prior day. This change lagged the S&P 500's daily loss of 0.3%. Elsewhere, the Dow lost 0.2%, while the tech-heavy Nasdaq lost 0.11%.

Prior to today's trading, shares of the footwear company had lost 4.72% over the past month. This has lagged the Consumer Discretionary sector's loss of 0.5% and the S&P 500's loss of 0.62% in that time.

Wall Street will be looking for positivity from Crocs as it approaches its next earnings report date. On that day, Crocs is projected to report earnings of $2.73 per share, which would represent year-over-year growth of 22.42%. Meanwhile, our latest consensus estimate is calling for revenue of $929.66 million, up 45.08% from the prior-year quarter.
