Costco stocks shelves with plant-based Beyond Meatballs at select locations

Beyond Meat’s recently launched Beyond Meatballs are rolling into select Costco stores

Costco is rolling out Beyond Meatballs at select stores across the country.

Beyond Meatballs' suggested retail price is $9.99 for a pack of 24 meatballs.

Beyond Meat introduced the new product in September at supermarkets including Whole Foods Market, Stop & Shop, Sprouts, Harris Teeter, Kroger, Albertsons, and others.

Costco locations with Beyond Meatballs include stores in New York , New Jersey, Connecticut, California, Massachusetts, Texas, Maryland, Virginia, Florida, Arizona, Colorado, Hawaii and others. To see where specific Beyond Meat products are available, customers can enter their location on the company's website.

The new product is made of peas and brown rice, and contains no GMOs, soy, gluten, cholesterol, antibiotics, or hormones, the company says.

The makers of the Beyond Burger are expanding their products across different sectors, including fast-food chains. Last month, Pizza Hut introduced two Beyond Pizza dishes. McDonald's also teamed up with Beyond Meat to co-create a plant-based patty that will be part of the new McPlant platform with McDonald's.
