Your two favorite Saturday night activities just became one. These fancy lady’s fingers are where nail art designs and yummy baking meet! Watch Hocus Pocus while these are in the oven and have the ultimate chillax Halloween ever. Try different nail art designs: french tips, splatter, marble! Get creative with all the designs you could never do on yourself. And you don’t need nail polish remover because if you mess up, NBD, you can just eat the finger.

Cookies

Ingredients:

2 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter (room temp)
1 cup of sugar
1 egg
1 tsp maple extract

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix dry flour, baking soda and salt together and set aside.
In a separate bowl cream the sugar and butter.
Add egg and maple extract to butter and combine.
In batches, add the dry ingredients to the wet until completely combined.
Cover and chill 30 minutes.

Once chilled, take the dough in batches of about 1 tbsp and roll to about 5 inches in length.
Use your finger to depress one end where the fingernail will go.
Use a knife to make deep cuts along the dough to make the wrinkles where knuckles would be.

Place finished fingers on baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown.

Icing

Ingredients:

3 3/4 cup powdered sugar
1/4 sp cream of tartar
3 egg whites
1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Directions:

Combine all ingredients except extract together and beat until sharp white.
Add extract and beat again until combined.
Dilute the icing with water if needed to reach pipping consistency.

Once cookies are removed from oven, allow 5 minutes to cool before icing.
Decorate, and enjoy!
