CONSOL Energy rebounds as coal stocks rally; Netflix on the run; SolarCity's stock crashes

Time for your daily dose of trending tickers, the stocks you're following based on your Yahoo Finance ticker searches.

CONSOL Energy
Shares of Consol Energy (CNX) are jumping as coal stocks rally following the Supreme Court's decision to block President Obama's plan to limit carbon emissions from power plants. The court’s 5–4 vote halts the Environmental Protection Agency's Clean Power Plan until the final months of President Obama's term.

Netflix
Netflix (NFLX) is posting gains in early trading. According to a new report by Ampere Analysis, the streaming giant will spend close to 25% of its original content budget on titles produced outside of the United States. The research firm says Netflix is focusing on France, Italy, Spain, and the U.K.

SolarCity
It's another cloudy day for SolarCity (SCTY). Shares are plunging after the company forecasted a bigger-than-expected loss for the first quarter. This comes as solar panel installations missed last year's target, despite posting a 73% jump from 2014. The nation's largest solar panel installer, which is backed by Tesla founder Elon Musk, has lost nearly half its value over the past 12 months on concerns over demand for renewable energy.
