Pinterest gets rating, Teva faces major lawsuit, Amazon helps employees start a business

Here are the companies Yahoo Finance is watching today.

Pinterest (PINS), the social media site that allows you to pin and post images, gets started at a neutral rating with a $31 price target at UBS. The company's stock debuted about a month ago. One analyst at Nomura who initiated coverage last week at a buy, said it sees a path to profitability in the “near-to-medium term.”

Teva Pharmaceutical (TEVA) is facing a price fixing lawsuit. The Israeli pharmaceutical company is being sued in the U.S. for orchestrating a scheme with 19 other drug companies to inflate drug prices in some cases by more than 1,000%, stifling competition for generic drugs. Rising drug prices from branded and generic manufacturers have sparked investigations and outrage in the United States. A representative for Teva said it will fight the lawsuit.

Amazon (AMZN) wants to deliver packages faster and is turning to its employees for ideas. The company is offering $10,000 in startup costs for employees who are accepted into the program and leave their jobs. The offer is open to most part-time and full-time Amazon employees. Amazon will also pay three months' worth of their salaries. Whole Foods employees are not eligible to receive the new incentives.

It looks like Pikachu gave the superheroes a run for their money at the box office this weekend. However, Disney's (DIS) ‘Avenger's: Endgame’ still managed to dominate, becoming only the third film ever to top $700 million domestically. Meanwhile, Warner Brother's (T) ‘Pokemon Detective Pikachu’ earned an estimated $58 million.

The boutique fitness company Flywheel Sports has been taken over by one of its lenders. Bloomberg reports that Kennedy Lewis Investment Management took control of Flywheel and its board and is exploring a sale of the company. Flywheel is also considering selling more at-home bikes.
