Here come factory orders ...
(Chris Sloan/ Airways News)
The latest reading on factory orders is due from the Census Bureau at the top of the hour.
Economists estimate the value of new orders that US manufacturers received in July rose 0.9% month-over-month.
Last week, the durable goods numbers beat expectations, rising 2%, and 2.2% on a "core" basis that excludes volatile items.
Today's report will paint a more complete picture of the manufacturing sector, and include data on non-durable goods orders.
We'll be back with the latest once the data cross.
