Clarkson, Hammond And May To Start New Show With LaFerrari, P1 & 918 Spyder Comparo?

Motor Authority

It appears that Amazon’s new show starring former Top Gear hosts Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May is set to start off with a bang. Clarkson posted a photo to Twitter yesterday showing the three larrikins in front of three of the most desirable cars on the planet: the Ferrari LaFerrari, McLaren P1 and Porsche 918 Spyder.

Although the cars have been on the market for two years now, there hasn’t been much in the way of a proper comparison between them that's been caught on camera. One of the tests out there was done by Top Gear the magazine, whose testers gave the nod to the LaFerrari. We wonder if Clarkson, Hammond and May will come up with a similar conclusion, should they be pitting the three cars against each other.

This photo was taken on the first day of filming for Amazon’s new show, which is rumored to be called Gear Knobs and set to commence in the fall of 2016. So far, three seasons have been confirmed with each packed with 12 episodes, and the rumored cost of producing them all is a staggering $250 million.
