Cisco bids $141 mil for Cariden
Shares of the network gear maker rose 1% to 19.01 after it said it would buy Cariden Technologies, a privately held maker of network planning, design and traffic management software for telecom companies. No. 1 network equipment maker Cisco Systems (CSCO) said it would pay $141 mil cash and retention-based incentives in exchange for all shares of Cariden.
