Big politics, big money
The latest ABC News / Wall Street Journal Poll on the Republican presidential field shows multi-billionaire Donald Trump with a big lead to go along with his big wallet. And as the money starts to mount this election cycle, Yahoo Finance's Rick Newman has been all over the role of big money in the campaign and a rather interesting picture is emerging.

New rules from the Fed
The Federal Reserve has finalized new regulatory rules that would require big banks to hold even more cash reserves to protect against another financial crisis. The rules happen to come on the fifth anniversary of the Dodd-Frank financial reform law even as questions remain about the effectiveness of the law.

Wage debate
The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors is about the debate the merits of raising the minimum wage for some workers to $15 an hour by the year 2020. This follows a similar move by the city of Los Angeles a few weeks ago.

Chipotle earnings
Shares of Chipotle (CMG) have lagged behind some key competitors like McDonald's (MCD) as well as the broader market this year. Lower expectations going into today's earnings report have some hoping a turnaround may be afoot.
