Yahoo Finance Chipotle Added A Shawn Mendes Bowl To Its Menu And It Goes To A Good Cause
Ordering at Chipotle is basically going on autopilot. Sure, maybe you give their new offerings a try once in a while, but chances are, most of the time, your normal order spills from your lips as you start daydreaming about going into a guac-induced, post-meal nap. But if you're looking for a bit of change, please allow pop superstar Shawn Mendes to inspire your new order.
Chipotle announced today that it was launching the "Shawn Mendes Bowl" available for ordering on the Chipotle app and Chipotle.com for a limited time in the U.S. and in Shawn's native Canada. The bowl features the brand's new Cilantro-Lime Cauliflower Rice, as well as black beans, chicken, roasted chili-corn salsa, romaine lettuce, and guac. Not only does that sound delicious (and almost EXACTLY like my typical Chipotle order!), if you order it, you'll also be helping to contribute to a good cause.
For every Shawn Mendes Bowl that it sells, Chipotle will donate $1 to the Shawn Mendes Foundation, which highlights and supports causes important to younger generations. The chain and Shawn will also be awarding "Wonder Grants" to young activists who are specifically focused on sustainability. Recipients of these grants will be announced in the coming weeks.
Shawn's bowl joins other past celebrity-inspired bowls like Miley Cyrus's and David Dobrick's. Honestly, no matter which one you order, you're being set up to get something new and delicious.
